City Christmas Tree Planting This Saturday

The City of Milton invites residents and friends to attend an official Christmas tree planting ceremony 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at the intersection of Webb Road and Highway 9. The tree, a 22-foot Deodar Cedar weighing approximately 3,700 pounds, was donated by Protect Milton, Inc. Several school groups with an interest in environmental education will be at the event to celebrate this special pre-holiday experience. The city will announce plans for the official tree lighting ceremony as the holiday season draws closer.
