Cobb County BMX has some very big plans for 2009 in recognition of BMX becoming an Olympic sport. BMX was one of the most anticipated sporting events of the 2008 summer Olympics and will make an even bigger splash in London for the 2012 summer games. We are planning an Open House and FREE race at each of the Cobb County BMX tracks during the month of March. Wild Horse Creek Park BMX will hold it's Open House starting at 12 on March 1st with ambassadors from the Kovachi Wheels BMX team teaching about and demonstrating BMX racing. The following weekend on March 8th Noonday Park BMX will host it's Open House again with the help from Kovachi Wheels team riders. Both events offer a free race which is expected to draw riders from all over the Southeast.
